Every upholstered bed is built on a hardwood or engineered substrate, reinforced with internal bracing and high-density padding. We offer performance fabrics, velvets, linens, leathers, and COM specified by designers and homeowners. Optional detailing includes contrast stitching, banding, borders, and integrated millwork alignment.
Slat Systems and Support
Our upholstered beds can be built with fixed slats, removable slats, or reinforced systems designed for heavier mattresses. We also offer 8-way hand-tied bases for clients who prefer traditional luxury support.

How do you ensure my mattress fits perfectly inside the upholstered frame?
Unlike retail beds that leave awkward gaps or fit too tightly, we build your frame based on the exact dimensions of your specific mattress model. We calculate the precise thickness of our high-density padding and upholstery layers to ensure a snug, tailored fit that makes making the bed easy while maintaining a seamless aesthetic.
Are upholstered beds difficult to keep clean, especially with kids or pets?
They don’t have to be. We highly recommend utilizing modern performance fabrics—such as Crypton or specialized performance velvets—which are inherently stain-resistant, liquid-repellent, and highly durable. For clients with pets, we can also source tightly woven fabrics or premium leathers that resist snagging and easily wipe clean.
Can the side rails and footboard be tufted or detailed to match the headboard?
Absolutely. Since every piece is fabricated from scratch in our Fort Lee workshop, we can carry any design element from the headboard directly down through the side rails and footboard. Whether it is deep diamond tufting, contrast piping, or decorative nailhead trim, we ensure the entire bed is a cohesive masterpiece.

Our in-house installation team ensures clean alignment, stability, and a seamless fit. For tight stairways and elevators, we design modular or split-frame systems that assemble perfectly on site.
